Aaron gently grabbed Katyusha's hand and led her off to a massive beautiful bathroom fit for royalty that he had found earlier. "We have not had a chance to clean up and spend some time together since we were captured" He said speaking softly now that they were alone.
Threatening me...then bribing me.... Things work 2 ways. Jacob repositioned in the chair, tensing up. He leaned forward somewhat trying to look somewhat menacing. "But you see, accidents are... visible. And the chance of something happening to me is less than say, a major electrical fire in this house of yours. In fact, your outlets look outdated, just imagine an electrical short, would it not be such a tragedy for this place to burn down?" Jacob was tense and ready to move, slowly letting up on the wall to his Precognition, just enough to be able to move fast. This is a bad idea.....
Katyusha smiled deviously, a feisty, hungry look in her eyes. He lips pursed as she looked him up and down. "We haven't had much fun since the breakout." She ran her confident hands down his chest, unbuttoning his fancy, silk shirt with practiced ease. The buttons were smooth and they slid out of their guarded positions as if oiled. She allowed herself a giggle at her handy-work, and pulled the shirt, tossing it aside carelessly. It fell to the floor without a noise. She kissed him once more, and allowed her hands to rest against his bare chest. His smooth, taut skin was comforting, warm memories flooded back, and she would have blushed had she not been so aloof about intimate matters. “Its been too long…”She mused, kissing him aggressively. Pulling slowly out of the kiss, Katyusha winked at Aaron. Taking a firm grip of his wrist, she dragged him into the bathroom, a hungry look in her eyes. The door swung open, then closed behind the couple with a satisfied click…
Eli smiled. Mark's uneasiness shone like a light, and how things were working into Eli's favor was far from hidden. He laughed. "Outdated electrical outlets? They were replaced last week," Eli honestly didn't know. However, he knew for a fact that if Mark were confident in his abilities then he wouldn't be making these counter-threats. At least, not while getting so tense. "You're already revealing more to me than I had intended to learn. Judging by your growing uneasiness you're off your game. Are you high, or perhaps there's a mental disorder at work? Please, sit. We have no need to be enemies. You can tell me now, while we're friends, and I will protect your weaknesses myself, and prevent that knowledge from leaving this estate. I only wish to see you thrive, and for you to tame what you feel controls you." He paused, hoping his cold-reading was working right. He watched for the little details: pauses, relaxation, slack-jawed expressions, and even pupil dilation. Though from this angle, the pupils were a bit of a challenge. "Just like with Katyusha, Aaron, and Dean, I know that your abilities combined with ours would make us quite the team. Have you ever wanted the ability to change what you see with your precognition? Once we have the reigns of this city, we'll make it a utopia, together." He took a puff from his cigar, calm and collected. He made sure his musculature was tuned for any sudden reactions from Mark, just in case he needed to stop anything. He didn't want to, but if he needed to make an example of his most unstable of pawns? Then he would.
Jacob stared at Eli, he began to clench and unclench his hands slowly. Off my game... Change the world... He is a madman, just going to get people hurt or killed.. But it seems I don't have a choice. Can find a way to stop him latter... from within the organization. Jacob closed his eyes for a moment and sighed. "Since you put it that way... I suppose I will work with you." His tone turned a bit jokingly "Do we get snazzy latex uniforms?" Jacob opened his eyes again. This was a really bad idea, should of just stayed home yesterday.
Global - The sunrise would rise up passed the horizon and ascend further into the sky. It was daytime now, and all of you tried to get some rest but not real avail. Some of you were too scared for your lives, others were too excited about the prospects for the future, and some others were simply too preoccupied with another person to go to sleep. After a few hours, you all noticed the clock and it was almost 10:15 in the morning. As you all entered one by one in your own fashion to the main area of the Estate, you were all surprised by a strange ringing sound. Looking around, you all turned to Eli, who reached into his pockets and pulled out the inferior but operational pre-paid cellphone provided to him last night. Eli - The name and number on the phone merely said "Private-42".
Eli answered the phone with a grin. He had managed to get to enough of a rest to keep him functional, and hopefully not impaired. "Hello," he said flatly. He figured that the tenderfoot was calling him to update him. It was a timely thing, and he respected that. However, he also had it in his head that the tenderfoot could be dead by now, and Luigi could be calling him. If this were the case, Eli would mobilize his newly formed 'team' to kick some serious Mafia ass. Who knows, they might get along in a fight.
Eli - "Oh good, you are still alive..." the familiar voice spoke from the receiver in your cellphone. The voice, continuing with a sigh, was easily recognizable and obviously belonged to the freakishly tall man from last night. "Well," he said as if annoyed by your continuing longevity and existence "that's surprising..." The voice stated bluntly, being completely genuine tone and lacking any sort of sarcasm. There was a brief pause, no doubt caused by Eli's frustration, and the other man's indifference. "If you are still interested, 42, there is another shipment transferring and switching hands in town. It should be en route in Downtown Megalopolis." The voice paused for another sigh. "Do as you wish." After that, the call went silent. The orders were transmitted and nothing else had been said. The only clue was Downtown Megalopolis, which is one of the most populated and most developed portion of the city, and finding one person with one object, it would be a difficult job if you were up for the task.
"Well ladies and gentlemen, we have a job! Crew 42, what say you to making $50k? We'll split it once we get ahold of that artifact that we're being sent after. It is en route in the Downtown District, and is ripe for the picking. Who all is up for it?" Eli put the phone in his pocket after the call was ended. He laughed, knowing that some other goons were there doing this exact job. He really wanted to know the kind of thugs were in this running. He imagined that there were others, but he had a hard time imagining that any were as coordinated as his team. He looked around at his people, smiling to himself. "Let's go, we have an entire downtown district to scavenge. We'll stop by an electronics store or something and grab some communicators so we can coordinate effectively, because we'll need to split up once we get there. Let's go." [Exit to Downtown District]
Jacob stayed quit and did as he was told. He kept his talking to a minimum and followed the order he was given. {Exit to Downtown District}
Dean smiled, and followed after Eli thinking, As long as I get a cut of the profits... {Exit to Downtown District}
